In 2011 I founded Digital Human Library (dHL) to address the urban and rural gap in education by leveraging digital technologies to broaden the K-12 student experience in ways that connect them with new people, places, and ideas from around the world.
Today Digital Human Library is Canada’s premier digital experiential learning library creating opportunities for K-12 teachers and students to learn with the world through interactive 1:1 video conferences, engaging live streamed educational programs, and the largest collection of educational virtual tours and virtual reality on the web.
In 2011 I founded the Digital Human Library Foundation as a not-for-profit organization creating connections-based learning opportunities for K-12 teachers and students through a variety Social Innovation Projects informed by Research.
