Digital Human Library

In 2011 I founded Digital Human Library (dHL) to address the urban and rural gap in education by leveraging digital technologies to broaden the K-12 student experience in ways that connect them with new people, places, and ideas from around the world.

Today Digital Human Library is a social enterprise advancing education as Canada’s premier digital experiential learning library. dHL creates opportunities for K-12 teachers and students to learn with the world through thousands of interactive 1:1 video conferences, hundreds of engaging live streamed educational programs, the largest collection of educational virtual tours and virtual reality on the web, and three social innovation projects informed by research that connect students around the world.
