It has come to my attention that when comments are made on student blogs, teachers are only required to approve the first comment made by a user (blog visitor).
Any follow up comments made by that same user are then automatically approved. You can change this setting in the Discussion section of your Blog Dashboard, so EVERY time a comment is made it must be approved by you, the teacher.
Go to > Class Blog Dashboard > Settings > Discussion > scroll down to Before a Comment Appears
Check the empty box beside Comment must be manually approved > Save (at the bottom)
Once you’ve saved these changes you will have to approve all comments made on student blogs (as long as your student profile email addresses are up to date and connected to your email address ie/ firstname.lastname@example.org).
