Blogging – A New Venture

What an exciting opportunity that I have been presented with and am going to be able to offer my kids!  I have to admit that I was nervous to attend an introductory meeting about blogging today.  Although my head is swimming with everything that I learned today, I am so excited about all of the possibilities that a class blog will provide for my class.  My hope is that my kids will be as excited about it as I am and that they will be eager to share the blog with their parents and other family and friends.  Our initial work will be to create our blog and to learn to post and comment.  We will be checking out many other blogs to determine what we like and don’t like when deciding how we would like our blog to look.  We will also be commenting and hoping to connect with other classes (specifically other grade three classes).
