It is nice to have a new perspective on teaching. I think one of the best ways to motivate your students is to be excited yourself to share something with your class. The blogging experience has given me a new way to motivate students. It also is an avenue to keep parents informed and have a chance to collaborate with co-workers within the school and board. If I model a classblog and together as a class we record our ideas and share our thoughts, then students will be engaged in the idea of sharing their thoughts and writing through their blogs.
