Our butterfly larvae arrived today! We are so excited to learn about butterflies!!! We mixed up the nutrient (which we learned is the food for the larvae), and packed it in our own ramekins. Then Mrs. Cassell gave us 2 larvae. We used magnifying glasses to observe our larvae. They are black, a little bit fuzzy and really cute. Some of our larvae kept trying to get out of our ramekins. It was funny. We also watched them eat. They have busy mouths. We are excited to observe them again tomorrow!
