Christmas Around the World at the Lambton Heritage Museum

On Tuesday December 17th the grades 1-3 students travelled to the Lambton Heritage Museum to explore holiday traditions brought to Canada from around the world. Students learned about an early Pioneer Christmas, the Mexican Posada, the Chinese New Year and Dutch Star Singing (just to name a few)! Their day was filled with activities, crafts, and treats both indoors and outdoors. We had a fantastic day!

  1. Looks like everyone had a great time at the Lambton County Museum learning about Christmas traditions in Pioneer days. What a awesome trip! Learning about 19th century celebrations in a 21st century way.
